Fonge Beats represents the new generation of Mankon artists, fusing Afrobeats and Hip-Hop with Mankon linguistic flair. Growing up in Bamenda and later moving to Chicago, Fonge brings a unique perspective that resonates with young Mankon people both at home and in the diaspora. His tracks are known for their infectious rhythms, clever wordplay mixing English, Pidgin, and Mankon language, and socially conscious lyrics that address themes of identity, migration, and cultural preservation. He has quickly become a favorite at MACUDA youth events.
