Full Report

It is truly a joy to gather once again here in Atlanta, Georgia, for our annual reunion. Each year, we look forward with great anticipation to reconnecting, and it is always a pleasure to see familiar faces and welcome new ones.

The state of MACUDA New England has never been more vibrant. Over the past year, our chapter has made remarkable strides.

We successfully executed and adopted our bylaws, laying a solid foundation for our operations. For the first time, we obtained an EIN and established a bank account, empowering us to manage the association’s business more efficiently.

Our membership has grown exponentially—from just twelve members to over thirty registered members today. This surge is a testament to our collective commitment and the welcoming spirit of our community.

Our monthly meetings are the heartbeat of our chapter, marked by energy and engagement. We convene twelve times a year: six in-person gatherings in the spring and summer, and six virtual meetings via Zoom during the fall and winter.

December is especially festive, as we come together in person to celebrate the end of the year, Christmas, and New Year. While our bylaws provide a small stipend to members in the event of a loss, we are excited about the newly launched MACUDA America AKWATE, and many members are eager to register.

The future of MACUDA NE shines brightly, fueled by our renewed spirit of positivity and progress.
